我猜 Dovie 的護蛋本能（instinct to protect the eggs）比 Apollo 的領域性本能（territorial instinct）還強，尤其是在非繁殖季（breeding season）時。不過我不確定這招對 Athena 會不會也有效😬

Guess the Dovie's instinct to protect the eggs is stronger than Apollo's territorial instinct (while not in the breeding season). But i'm not sure if this can work against Athena😬

哇，Dovie 夫人（Mrs. Dovie）跟 Apollo 打了一架（fight）？場面超激烈（intense）。可憐的 Dovie 夫人😟，但我很佩服她為了保護蛋（eggs）而留下來，還成功把 Apollo 逼走了。

Whoa, Mrs. Dovie had a fight with Apollo? That was intense. Poor Mrs. Dovie😟But i'm impressed she stayed to protect her eggs and was able to make Apollo leave.

我很希望那些鴿子（doves）能順利成功，但我寧願在蛋孵化（eggs hatch）之前，就先看到牠們被安全地趕走。雛鳥（chicks）的叫聲真的會很吸引掠食者（predators）的注意。🙁

I would love the doves to succeed but I'd rather see them chased safely out way before eggs hatch. The chicks noise would really attract attention from predators. 🙁

Even going frame by frame it's hard to be sure, but I think I saw both eggs intact at different points in the confrontation, we'll have to wait and see whether they still were by the end 😬

The doves have been lucky so far that neither Apollo or Athena have noticed them yet, but I doubt it'll stay that way when they have noisy chicks.

不過 owlet（幼鴞）本來就是正確用語啦（但我同意這字很棒也很好念 😄）；keslet 則是口語說法／簡寫（colloquialism/shorthand），而我喜歡 dovelet（小鴿子）也是同樣原因。

Well owlet is the correct term anyway (but I agree it's a great word and easy to say 😄), keslet is a colloquialism/shorthand though, and I like dovelet for the same reason

我不想用 squabs（乳鴿／雛鴿）來稱呼牠們，聽起來像食物來源，想到就有點難過。squabs 會在學會飛之前就被採收，用來食用（meat consumption）。

I don't want to use the term squabs for them. Sounds like a food source. Kind of sad to think about. Squabs are harvested before they learn to fly. They are used for meat consumption.
